I submit that the best alternative to one of the major parties is an organization like the Free Capitalist Project, not one of the plethora of so called "3rd parties" which claim to have a viable alternative.

It is my opinion that it is only through the local grass roots organization that exists in the Free Capitalist Project or similar organizations that a true alternative to the Democan and Republicrat system will be effective.

We have recently made an exciting discovery--three years after writing the wonderfully expanded third edition of How to Read a Book, Mortimer Adler and Charles Van Doren made a series of thirteen 14-minute videos on the art of reading. The videos were produced by Encyclopaedia Britannica. For reasons unknown, sometime after their original publication, these videos were lost.

When we discovered them and how intrinsically edifying they are, we negotiated an agreement with Encyclopaedia Britannica to be the exclusive worldwide agent to make them available.

For those of you who teach, this is great for the classroom.

I cannot over exaggerate how instructive these programs are--we are so sure that you will agree, if you are not completely satisfied, we will refund your donation.

Please go here to see a clip and learn more:

I agree with Mecham. I think the free capitalist philosophies are more closely represented by the libertarian and constitutional parties. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem that most people know anything about the "3rd parties."

"...both parties routinely cast aside Constitutional limitations on government..." Maybe that's why Dr. Skousen recommended I support 3rd parties such as the Constitution Party and said that there are only a few good representatives left in both major parties.
