Lindsey Graham will formally launch his bid for president in the small South Carolina town where he grew up.
Isn’t it odd that when a person announces their “candidacy” for President of the United States, our culture celebrates this as a news event, and with pomp and splendor. But, what is really being celebrated? That someone is entering a race? That’s just like our culture, the “something for nothing” mentality can justify giving an award to a person for just showing up, and paying little attention to the actual contest or its results.
